B25-0826 - Recidivism Reduction, Oversight, and Accountability for DYRS Act of 2024 (ROAD Act)
The ROAD Act will 1) create a permanent oversight body for DYRS; 2) require DRYS to significantly reform its supervision and intervention practices, including creating Individualized Rehabilitation Plans and discharge and reentry plans; and 3) strengthen the court’s authority to intervene when DYRS fails to provide the appropriate rehabilitative services

Bill 25-669 “Uniform Unlawful Restrictions in Land Records Act of 2024.”
The purpose is to enact the Uniform Unlawful Restrictions in Land Records Act which would allow homeowners to remove unlawful restrictive covenants from the deeds to their homes and for condominiums and other homeowner associations to remove unlawful restrictive covenants from their governing documents. Update: Currently being reviewed by the mayor.
B25-0040 - Vehicular Noise Reduction Act
The purpose of the Vehicular Noise Reduction Act is to reduce vehicular noise in the District by (1) implementing a noise camera pilot program; (2) creating a vehicle repair subsidy program to offset costs of vehicle repairs; and (3) commissioning a DDOT and DOEE study on strategies to reduce vehicular and transit noise in the District.
