Interesting Items From The Last County Council Meeting
Amendment and reenactment of an ordinance to remove voter satellite offices for absentee voting in-person for exclusion of the premises known as Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center, 333 Long Bridge Drive, Arlington, Va. 22202; for the purpose of absentee voting in person within Arlington County, Virginia.
CM Recommendation: Approve the amended ordinance (attached to the staff report) removing the Long Bridge Aquatics Center as a satellite office provided for absentee voting in person.
Crystal City Metrorail Station East Entrance Project Agreement
CM Recommendation: Authorize the County Manager or his designee to accept $27,500 in pass-through federal funds for FY 2025 and execute associated grant documents in a form approved by the County Attorney. In addition, appropriate $27,500 in pass-through federal funds (101.471201) to the Department of Human Services (101.5023002) to fund Crisis Intervention Team training.
