Idea #3 – Splitting a bottle with friends.

They have cases of small water bottles from discount box stores. I don’t really care for them. I think there’s too much plastic in the world and it’s a real problem. But, they exist. I’ve used them for a whiskey club at work. Reusing the bottles helps the environment as well! Each person brought in a fifth of whatever the theme was and we divided them up in the empty water bottles. (Some would say the plastic will impart a flavor. I guess it will – in twenty years. I never let the stuff lay around that long, that’s for sure.) Be sure to mark each water bottle so you can keep track. I had my wife pour the whiskies so I could do a blind tasting. Have everyone take notes and keep track of what they liked and didn’t like. Your lunch conversations will be quite lively. Set the price range, type of whiskey, and coordinate so no two people bring the same bottle. Have you done anything like this at work or amongst friends? Let’s hear about it on our Discord channel.
